Plumbago capensis & capensis 'alba' Free flowering evergreen small shrub or climber with slender branching stems. From spring to fall bears continuous tubed 1.5" long in dense, clusters up to 6" across. Capensis has powdery sky blue flowers with darker blue streaks in the center and 'alba' has pure white flowers. Great patio and container plant. Hardy in zones 9-10. Recommended care: Long blooming easy to care for plant. In cold climates treat as a houseplant. Over winter in a south facing window. Requires full sun to part shade in well drained, fertile soil. During growing season water frequently and fertilize with a water based fertilizer at least every 2 weeks. Water sparingly in winter.
