PASSIFLORA ALATA
Rare. This is a tropical woody vine with unusual and stunning fragrant,
deep red flowers about 4-5" across with wavy purple and white coronas.
Hardy in zones 9-10.
Minimum 5-7ºC.
Recommended care:
Keep it well watered and fertilize regularly. Keep it in a hot, sunny location.
Passiflora flowers on new growth, so they
may be pruned early in the growing season. It is best to cut some stems back
nearly to the base in spring. In Spring put outdoors after all chances
of frost have gone and in fall bring indoors before all chances of frost come.
