GARDENIA JASMINOIDES 'VETCHII'
Vigorous tropical shrub with pure white fully double 3" across very fragrant
flowers. A superb houseplant. Evergreen, with leathery dark green leaves.
Flowers in spring and summer. Up to 6' tall and 3' wide.
Supposedly hardy zones 8-10. I have never planted this outdoors so I
am unsure of it's hardiness.
Recommended care:
Grow in acidic potting mix in bright filtered light with moderate humidity.
Fertilize at least monthly. Always keep soil moist during blooming.
Water sparingly in winter.
