CLEMATIS SERRATIFOLIA

This vine has beautiful creamy yellow bell shaped flowers 1-2 inches across which are fragrant with a lemon scent. Flowers appear from summer until late fall on new wood so do not prune if at all until after it has finished blooming. Group 3 pruning.

Hardy in zones 4-9.

As with all other Clematis keep the roots sheltered or in a cool location. You can plant shrubs in front but not too close as the roots need a lot of room to grow. Do not fertilize during it's blooming period as this makes the flowers not last nearly as long.
