Abutilon x suntence (Flowering Maple) This extremely rare Abutilon is a cross between vitifolium and ochsenii. This is a fast growing, deciduous tropical shrub. Produces an abundance of of up to 3" large bowl shaped, pale to deep purple flowers from early spring throughout summer. Hardy in zone 8-9. Recommended care: Grow in a rich well drained potting mix in full sun. Water freely and apply a water based fertilizer every two weeks. Water sparingly in winter.
